On the 11th and 12th of July, in Porto Alegre (RS, Brazil), 16 tanneries will exhibit at Inspiramais fair and design salon. In the individual stands or in the trend spaces, the visitors will be able to get to know up close the work of these companies that produce bovine and exotic leathers and source from small (even a single skin) to large quantities for big industries. Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association (Abimóvel) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and sectorial projects Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture and By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals.
The trend concept of this edition of Inspiramais followed the theme Homo Faber - season 2024_II. It is a creative approach that values originality and the research for connections that exalt handcrafted processes and the high quality of the articles – a great harmony with leather. In all, there will be the release of more than a thousand materials of different types, presented to an expected audience of 7 thousand people.
Inspiramais also features a special stage exclusively dedicated to lectures on trends and innovation. On the first day (11), Ricardo Andrade, CICB's sustainability and institutional relations advisor, will present the lecture A deep look at Brazilian leather: production, circularity and sustainable value. On the second day, the lecture will be on the concept and research of the Leather Preview show (Preview do Couro), which anticipates trends and is one of the highlights of Inspiramais.
